This is an oil painting of the War Eagle Mill.  It was painted with sign lettering enamels on stucco textured masonite, after which, I cut and distressed this pine frame for it.

Indian Lamp
This Indian chief statue begged to be incorporated as a theme element into a nice lamp.  I intended to build a simple table lamp but as the design evolved, this project became a floor lamp instead.  The trunk support is carved from the trunk of an old maple tree taken from my parents yard in Colorado, while the legs and back riser came from red cedar tree limbs from my own property in Arkansas.  The shelf is  laminated pine planks.  This is a perfect compliment to my other log furniture collection.
